I might be a tiny bit obsessed with this collection by my co-blogger Kristi Rose.

Now to just figure out how I'm going to afford each and every piece!

An Ode to No One
The geometric prints were enough to make me want to steal the clothes off the model's backs! Not really, but words can't explain the warm fuzzy feeling inside when I thought about being able to wear one of these pieces. The cool blues, silvers and greys dispersed with a cherry red pop sent this collection soaring into the stratosphere. An Ode to No One played with strong fabrics offset with soft silks to keep our eyes entertained, and wanting more..

New kids on the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Block WATSON X WATSON showed their SS12/13 collection yesterday with an amazing set up in the Theatre as the Overseas Passenger Terminal. The sculpture above the runway was so intricate and fascinating that paired with the glow sticks attached to every gift bag, it automatically gave off a fun, edgy vibe.

The collection consisted of a variety of textures that explored the realms of fabrics. Sparkles, metallics, chunky knits, sports luxe and military inspired get-ups kept us wanting to see what else these talented designers could do.
Congratulations Watson x Watson on a bold and enchanting debut.

I expected nothing less than an beautifully classic collection of clothes, shoes and leather goods from Oroton SS 12-13. Luxurious shirt dresses, Oroton-esque prints, well-tailored short trenches, scintillating sparkles and rich colours in tangerines and deep blues. The leather goods, as always, were faultless. From small, sparkly night bags to large totes and back packs in bright hues, all with that timeless Oroton edge.

I was spoilt by the gift bag too. Thanks Oroton!

Sheer fabrics and a mouth-watering colour palette of lime greens mixed with rose pinks, strong blues, florals and mosaic prints were the highlights of Bec and Bridge's 'Paradiso Bianco' SS12/13 show yesterday at Day 2 of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. White was another dominating element of the collection forming the crisp basis of every garment. Blazers, knits, printed pants, cowl-back tops and thigh high splits were also beautifully created in this resort collection inspired by Capri. One of my favourite collections of the day and can't wait to be smoothly cruising through summer in these light fabrics, flawlessly designed.

What a way to begin an entire day at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia. Best wake up call I could have asked for was Alice McCall's SS12/13 'Babooshka' show. Centred around one of my favourite cities in the world, Budapest, this collection was full of rich colours, a mix of floaty and structured lines and jewels to die for. So feminine and fun, Alice McCall has given us yet again what we have been pining for.

What an awesome front row Alice McCall drew in as well. Bryan Boy, Rumi Neely and Nicole Warne amongst other familiar faces.
