r&h BACKSTAGE AT ZIMMERMANN S/S 11-12'

HALCYON DAYS

And were off.... Zimmermann officially kick-started RAFW 11/12' at 9.30AM this morning when they sent an assortment of earthy lace, linen & embroidery down the runway. Rose&Ham went backstage to bring you the stand out pieces from the collection including the ever present sheers & laser cutting, cap sleeves & collars and of course those awe inspiring thigh scraping splits.

We have always been HUGE fans of the label celebrating their 20^th year in the industry and today they in no way let us down. Detail after detail flowed onto the runway with the Classic Throttle Shop as the naturally lit back drop to beautiful long feminine silhouettes. With a colour palette of white, dirty golds, creams and a pastel print to make 60s wallpaper peel off in jealousy the collection brought back memories of summer holidays that were once crisp in memory.

The Zimmermann sisters really did play around with this collection and we are so very thankful for it. 

Our wardrobe is screaming to have every single piece hanging in it!

Zimmermann Cruise Swim 11'

We have recently fallen head-over-heels in love with the legend that is Roger Deckker after he shot the most recent Zimmermann Cruise 11' campaign.

The images speak for themselves, shot against the natural elements of the Australian landscape - rock, sand, sea and sky. Having the privilege of seeing this collection in the flesh at the Zimmermann show room we urge you to check the pieces out for yourselves. There is no wonder why Zimmermann has become such an iconic Australian label.
