Cup full of daisies

Spoonful of sugar? How about a cupful of daisies? Both conjure up images of rainbows, butterflies and unicorns in our imaginations. Not really. But this cupful of daisies gives us just enough to let our minds wander to meandering through fields of daisies in the summer. All this from a cup full of daisies? How 60s of us! I think we need to get a few more cups of daisies in our offices, studies and bedrooms, to escape from work and uni.

Might be a little unproductive though.

Totally in LOVE with this dress from Alice McCall 1st SS11 Cat of the Duchess collection.

Sometimes you just fall for a dress on first sighting, sometimes it's an after thought that makes you need to wander back past the very window you saw it in & try it on. This dress had that very effect (except of course substitute the shop window for adding to our favourites list so we could browse past it at any time of the day)..

Pre-ordering opened on Wednesday so jump on & have a look at the whole collection, promise you won't be able to wipe the smile off your face.

Another fabulous designer collaboration for the Swedish high street brand H&M choosing to release a collection this November with fashion powerhouse Versace. The collection promises to reflect the 'iconic Versace' together with the great prices that we know and love from H&M. If only we Australians could get our hands on it without having to spend thousands of dollars and travelling for days. *Sigh. We never stop wishing that one day it will decide to hit our shores, where we will welcome it with open arms.

Oh the things we would do to be on that boat. Ohhh mmyyyy GOODNESS... sun, sea, sand, sailing, salt, smoking, swimming. It is these kinds of images of Daria Werbowy sailing around Corsica with her family that help us to get through this cold, windy winter. Each photograph is a glimmer of hope that these days will pass fast. As much as we love the winter fashions, fur, chunky scarves, boots, how can you not want this. 

For those of you lucky enough to live, or be travelling to the Northern Hemisphere this summer, we have one feeling towards all of you... jealousy! But enjoy the hell out of your summer days.

Theyskens' Theory Resort 2012 killed it this season with some awe inspiring looks of wearable layering at its finest. What made us look twice though was those neon trimmed handbags!!! They are the redesign of the current Theory messenger bags and are now the current number one on our Christmas wish list.. Hint. Hint.

Lets step back and take a minute to praise the inspirational work of Swedish brand ACNE. The Resort 2012 Collection was shown over the weekend in NYC and to quote Acne founder Jonny Johansson, the collection draws inspiration from "a downtown, young jeans girl... who is colliding with romantic, historic fashion and creating a trapped volume".

The layering and colour palate is inspirational to say the least. We cannot wait to see how the layered pants and skirts translate to street fashion...
